Screeners Overview
The ChartLabs Screener lets you scan the entire instrument catalog to find trading opportunities. Filter by asset type, exchange, price, volume, and percentage change -- all with real-time data.
Opening the Screener
Click the Screener icon in the left sidebar to open the screener panel.
How It Works
- The screener queries the full instrument catalog based on your filters
- Results are displayed in a sortable, paginated table
- Each result row shows real-time price data via WebSocket subscriptions
- Click any row to select the instrument and load it on your linked chart
Screener Columns
| Column | Description |

| Symbol | Instrument ticker symbol |
| Type | Asset class (stock, forex, crypto, etc.) |
| Exchange | Exchange where the instrument trades |
| Price | Current last price (real-time) |
| Change | Absolute price change |
| Chg % | Percentage price change |
| Volume | Current trading volume |
| Bid | Current bid price |
| Ask | Current ask price |
| Provider | Data provider source |
| Currency | Quote currency |
All columns are sortable. Click a column header to cycle through ascending, descending, and unsorted.
Selecting an Instrument
Click any row in the screener results to:
- Highlight the row as selected
- Update the platform's active instrument
- Load the instrument on any tab-linked charts
This makes the screener a powerful tool for quickly scanning through instruments while your charts follow along.
