Adding & Configuring Indicators
Adding an Indicator
- Click the Indicators button on the chart toolbar
- Browse categories or search by name
- Click an indicator to add it to the chart
- Double-click to configure parameters before adding
Configuring Parameters
Each indicator has configurable parameters (period, source, colors, line width, etc.):
- Click the indicator label on the chart (or in the indicator list)
- The settings panel opens with all available parameters
- Adjust values -- changes apply immediately
- Close the settings panel when done
Common Parameters

| Period | Lookback window for calculations | 14, 20, 50 |
| Source | Which price data to use | Close, Open, High, Low, HL2, HLC3 |
| Color | Line or histogram color | Blue, Red, custom hex |
| Width | Line thickness in pixels | 1, 2, 3 |
| Style | Line rendering style | Solid, Dashed, Dotted |
Description Panel
When browsing indicators, the description panel shows detailed help:
- What the indicator measures
- How to interpret the output
- Common parameter values
- Trading applications
Removing an Indicator
- Click the X icon next to the indicator name in the chart's indicator list
- Or right-click the indicator line on the chart and select Remove
Indicator Visibility
- Click the eye icon to toggle visibility without removing
- Useful for temporarily hiding indicators while keeping their configuration
