Timeframes

Each chart supports multiple timeframes, from intraday to monthly.

Available Timeframes

Changing the Timeframe

Change the timeframe from:

• The timeframe selector on the chart toolbar
• The right-click context menu on the chart

The chart reloads data for the selected timeframe immediately. All indicators recalculate based on the new bar intervals.

Multi-Timeframe Analysis

Open multiple chart tabs with the same instrument but different timeframes for multi-timeframe analysis:

1. Open a chart with your instrument on the daily timeframe
2. Add a new chart tab (click + on the tab bar)
3. Load the same instrument on a 1-hour timeframe
4. Split the panels side by side for simultaneous viewing

Use tab linking to keep both charts on the same instrument as you scan through your watchlist.

Data Availability

The available history depth depends on the data provider and timeframe:

• Minute bars -- Typically several months of history
• Hourly bars -- Typically 1-2 years
• Daily/Weekly/Monthly -- Several years of history
