Workspaces

Workspaces save your entire platform layout so you can switch between different analysis setups instantly.

What Gets Saved

A workspace captures:

  • Panel layout -- Chart positions, splits, tab arrangement
  • Chart state -- Instruments, timeframes, indicators, drawings, zoom level
  • Side panel sizes -- Width of the right nav panel, height of the bottom panel
  • Pop-out windows -- Detached tabs are restored when the workspace is loaded

Managing Workspaces

The workspace dropdown is in the top toolbar.

Save

  1. Click the workspace dropdown
  2. Click Save
  3. Enter a name
  4. Click confirm

If a workspace with that name already exists, it will be overwritten.

Load

  1. Click the workspace dropdown
  2. Select a workspace from the list
  3. The layout, charts, and all state are restored

Rename

  1. Click the Edit (pencil) icon next to the workspace name
  2. Enter a new name
  3. Confirm

Delete

  1. Click the Delete (trash) icon
  2. Confirm deletion
  3. The platform loads the next available workspace

Unsaved Changes

A visual indicator appears when the current layout differs from the saved workspace. Save to persist your changes, or load a different workspace to discard them.

Cross-Device Sync

Workspaces are stored both:

  • Locally in browser localStorage for fast loading
  • On the server via the User Data Store API for cross-device sync

The server copy is authoritative. If no local copy exists, the server version is loaded on login.
